The University of Freiburg confirms the improvement of mobility in young adults. The purpose of the study on 160 volunteers by the Department of Sport and Sport Science at the University of Freiburg in Germany was to research the effect of oral bioactive collagen peptides® on young people who suffer because of diagnosed pain in the knee joint, related to sports activity.
The study used a 12-week oral daily dose of 5 g of FORTIGEL® collagen or a placebo. After 3, 6, and 12 weeks, the FORTIGEL® group noticed changes in pain, stiffness, and body function.
