NDURE -> NRGY UNIT DRINK
The sports drink Ndure is one of the best selling items in our store and is well received among the users. But the Nduranz company strives for perfection, so the second-generation sports drink Ndure is replaced by the third-generation Nrgy Unit Drink.
The formulation remains the same, so you can expect all the benefits you are used to, but the new sports drink introduces the following changes:
- Double scoop size to match the energy unit (180 calories)
- New and improved flavors, even more freshness, this time also with citric acid
- Larger and more robust packing (1350 grams, 28 portions)
- Proudly made in Slovenia.
OPTIMAL COMPOSITION AND CARBOHYDRATE RATIO
Numerous sports drink target only the glucose transporter. Unabsorbed nutrients remain in the digestive tract and cause digestive issues, which are way too often the reason for a sad conclusion of a race or training session.
The sports drink Nrgy Unit Drink uses both key receptors: the glucose receptors (GLUT2 and SLGT1) and the fructose receptor (GLUT5). Based on scientific evidence, it has the optimal ratio of maltodextrin (a complex carbohydrate with a high glycemic index) and fructose.
The 1:0.8 ratio of maltodextrin and fructose is ideal, as it allows the body to absorb from 90 to 120 grams of carbohydrates per hour, which is 50 to 100% more than the regular sports drink.
An increased intake of carbohydrates means more energy, which improves sports performance and decreases the occurrence of cramps, which are often caused by nervous system fatigue.
ELECTROLYTE MIX IDENTICAL TO HUMAN SWEAT
Electrolytes are the key element for the normal operation of the body and the cells. During strenuous exercise, we sweat, which is the main pathway from which the body loses electrolytes.
The concentration of electrolytes in the blood is much higher than the one in the sweat. Consuming too many electrolytes, same as the wrong combination of carbohydrates, leads to digestive issues, which are a common problem of endurance athletes.
The Nduranz company created its own electrolyte mix that reflects the concentration of electrolytes in human sweat. Their approach is based on a scientifically-supported idea that the sports drink should replace the type and amount of electrolytes we actually lose in the sweat.
The most represented electrolyte in the sports drink Nrgy Unit Drink is sodium, which is the electrolyte we lose most with sweat. Calcium is also important because in case of deficiency the body extracts this electrolyte from the bones, which we naturally wish to avoid. Magnesium is present in low levels, which is the amount found in sweat - during exercise we lose magnesium in small quantities, and too large an intake of magnesium may lead to digestive issues and even negatively impact muscle function.
When manufacturing their products, the Nduranz company selects only the finest ingredients with certified origin from certified facilities, and their combination, concentration, and amount are carefully determined based on thorough scientific research.
FRESH AND NATURAL TASTE
The Nduranz company gives a lot of attention to the flavor of their products.
The sports drink Nrgy Unit Drink is the result of care and dedication to finding the best flavors a sports drink can provide. They are distinguished by incredible freshness and a rich, natural taste without containing harmful additives, aromas, colorants, or artificial sweeteners.
NEW: based on the great demand of Ndure users, the Nduranz company added a new line of flavors with citric acid!
NDURANZ ENERGY UNIT
To simplify the dosing of their products during exercise, the Nduranz company created an energy unit system that connects their sports drinks and energy gels.
With this simple system, you will be able to easily and precisely determine how many sports drinks and/or energy gels to consume during exercise.
DID YOU KNOW?-That most sports drinks are not actually isotonic?
-That the Nrgy Unit Drink was tested and developed by Dr. Tim Podlogar, a top-level Slovene kinesiologist and nutritionist, who studied in the UK?
-That the race results are greatly based on the amount of ingested carbohydrates, which is why professional teams mix their own sports drinks?
-That we can greatly increase regeneration by ingesting an appropriate sports drink and/or energy gel?
-That prof. Rowlands, who discovered the 1:0.8 ratio, is so enthusiastic about cycling that he suggested to his university to work only 4 hours per day to be able to cycle every day?
